New Members Class

Are you interested in learning what Trinity Presbyterian Church believes and what it means to be a member of the church? Please let Pastor Furey know or note your interest on a Welcome Card in the pew.
New Sunday Morning Sermon Series—begins April 14, 10:30 a.m.
“When Judges Roamed the Earth”

“The book of Judges bustles with colorful characters. Ehud, a left-handed political assassin who cleverly dispatches a corpulent king. Deborah, a bold prophet and matriarch of Israel who musters tribes to war. Samson, a Rambo-like warrior who dallies with women and annihilates Philistines in a temple of doom.

“To Christian readers Judges is interesting, sometimes inspiring, but also puzzling. What message should we take from it? … With a renewed quest…find fresh perspective on the ways of God and his church in a post-Christian world.”(Michael Wilcock)

Welcome to Trinity!

I am glad that you have chosen to visit our website, thankful for your interest in Trinity Presbyterian Church.  We want to welcome you and invite you to visit us on Sunday mornings for worship.

It is a wonderful privilege and truly a great blessing to shepherd this vibrant church.  We are on an extraordinary journey as God builds His church and advances His kingdom in our lives and our community.  It is our desire that by His grace, Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith, and being rooted and grounded in love, we may be strengthened to know the breadth and the length, the height and the depth of the love of Christ for us.

Come join us in passionate, Christ-centered worship, faithful to the Bible.  May God bless you with His glorious grace.

Testimonials

  • Stacy: 2008 was a roller-coaster year which refined our marriage and threw us on the grace & mercy of the Lord almost daily.  After a history of healthy pregnancies, I faced my first miscarriage that January.  It wasn’t the miscarriage that surprised me but the emotional earthquake that followed as my husband & I wrestled with whether we should be open to more children and wondered if I would be able to carry to term again.  The aftershocks revealed hidden fault lines of my poor and deceptive communication.  Agonizing weeks followed.  (more…)

Life Stories of God’s Grace (Christ makes all things new!)
  • Kevin and Colleen
God’s Grace:  I was 25 when my life fell apart.  I knew God and I knew the answers to the questions, how are you saved, but Christ was not Lord of my life.  I learned by failure; I had to put my trust in Jesus Christ and nothing else.  All else would let me down: people, relationships, “additions” to make me feel better, but they were never lasting and left me feeling more empty. When All Else Lets You Down
  • My professional work involves constant, multiple streams of communication.   I manage certain financial functions for a very large multi-state corporation which requires numerous daily conference calls, face-to-face meetings, written reports, broadcast e-mails and 1-to-1 phone calls.  Given the sensitive nature of the subject matter and the widely varying settings, the language needs to be adjusted among these many settings.  (more…)

    Under Tremendous Scrutiny
  • I am thankful to Pastor Jim to allow me to share a testimony of God’s grace in my life.  I would like to start off with some of my past and work to current.  I found myself in my late 20’s with a personal “legacy” that consisted of being a Purdue Graduate (Engineer), Diver (Purdue), Soccer player, Go-kart racing, President of Society of Manufacturing Engineers – Indy Chapter, soccer coach, and full time employed all the while.  This is just a short list of my accomplishments; I was quite the “stud”.  I bet you are thinking, wow, this guy is way cooler than I’ll ever be…..in reality this is just a result of  “we do what we do because we want what we want ~ Pastor Jim Furey” which is talking about where your heart is.
